The Challenge
Barnett Waddingham commissioned an animation to launch GEM — a powerful data-led platform designed to simplify the management of workplace DC pensions. The brief was to communicate a technically complex product clearly and compellingly to a professional audience, making GEM's sophisticated capabilities feel intuitive and accessible rather than overwhelming. The creative challenge was to translate dense financial and analytical language into engaging visual storytelling — bringing to life GEM's ability to model real-time retirement outcomes, support diversity and inclusion strategies and cut through a complex provider market. The finished animation positioned GEM as an essential tool for pension scheme managers — governing, engaging, and monitoring with confidence.
