Young People’s Programme
The Respect Young People's Programme commissioned this animation to highlight the vital role the programme plays in supporting vulnerable and troubled children at a critical point in their lives. The brief centred on a real story — a young person named Alex — making the creative challenge as much about sensitivity and empathy as it was about visual craft. The animation had to handle a genuinely difficult subject with care, telling Alex's story honestly and compassionately without exploiting the vulnerability at its heart. By showing how timely intervention and consistent support can redirect the course of a child's life, the finished piece became more than an explainer — it became a quiet argument for why this kind of work matters. One of the most meaningful projects in my portfolio.
