Maylander Wine — Launch Promo Video
Maylander Wine, a new premium wine brand, was preparing for its first product launch and needed a promo video that would introduce its identity, story, and values to the public. The goal was to create a piece that reflected the craftsmanship, sophistication, and connection to Formula One racing, while generating excitement for its debut at an exhibition and across digital platforms.
Case Study:

Objective / Challenge:
As a new entrant to a competitive luxury market, Maylander needed a launch asset that would:
Communicate its brand, identity, and background in a concise, visually engaging format.
Stand out both in physical exhibition spaces and digital channels.
Integrate 2D and 3D design elements seamlessly with live-action footage to create a cinematic yet brand-consistent story.
The challenge was to develop a cohesive motion narrative that captured the emotion and elegance of the brand while appealing to an audience unfamiliar with it.
Approach
The creative process began with an exploration of Maylander’s visual identity — its logo, colour palette, and tone of voice — to establish the creative direction for the motion piece.
Concept & Storyboarding
Developed a visual narrative that symbolised the formula one connection and background.
Created a storyboard to map the blend of live-action racing imagery with animated typography ,
3d assets.
Design & Motion
Designed 2D vector assets for product labels in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
Built a wine bottle in Cinema 4d to allow greater control and more dynamic camera movement to be used, bringing energy and sophistication to the final sequence.
Editing & Finishing
Combined motion graphics with video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, syncing transitions to an emotive soundtrack that reinforced the brand’s tone.
Colour graded the footage to align with Maylander’s brand colours — deep reds, golds, and natural tones reflecting the product’s premium positioning.
Outcome:
The video premiered at Maylander’s first brand exhibition, where it attracted strong attention and became the centrepiece of their visual identity.
Across social media platforms, it helped build brand awareness and engagement during the launch phase.
Feedback from the client and exhibition attendees highlighted the video’s ability to capture the brand’s story and atmosphere effectively within a short format.
